My Likes + Dislikes Of The PSPGO- Dumbnutz - 6/10
LOOKS.
.........
Its an ugly beast when open.
The Black one is nasty compared to the White one.
PORTABILITY.
.........
Its pocket sized (finally)
HARDWARE.
.........
The thumbpad for me is now useless where it is placed, very awkward but then i never liked it in the first place because it lacks any of the precision of analog sticks on console.
Feels light and cheap, very plasticky like a Fisher Price toy.
The shoulder buttons feel awkward when the psp is open the screen is in the way making them almost unusable.
The smaller screen to me aint as sharp. certain things appear blurrier
Again when open, the volume control is badly placed.
Digital Distribution yet it comes equipped with the ancient Wireless B? If you don't own a PC or PS3 expect to wait for ages for titles to download. For the price couldnt Sony have at least upgraded it to G or even N?
I love the way it slides open! its nice and smooth.
Bluetooth. Uses will include being able to use a DS3 pad to play the games useful when using the TV-Out feature.
SOFTWARE.
.........
Digital Downloads will kill off retail.
Not many good games available for the system, with only one good one on the horizon with MGS.
Not ideal in countries with slow internet connections.
Again with Digital Downloads being the only way Sony have free reign to charge you what they like, no searching the shops for the best deals and with Sony sticking to MRRP games will most likely always be more expensive on the GO.
I prefer digital downloads to discs, saves carting them about.
VALUE.
.........
Requires new accessories and memory cards.
Apart from Bluetooth your PSP 1,2,3000 is capable of the same things.
