In the icy darkness of deep space, the atmosphere is soaked with a feeling of tension terror.

In Dead Space players will step into the role of engineer Isaac Clarke – an ordinary man on a seemingly routine mission to fix the communications systems aboard a deep space mining ship.

Its not long before Isaac awakes to a living nightmare. He soon learns that the ship's crew has been ravaged by a vicious alien infestation, and must fight through the dead silence and darkness of deep space in order to stay alive.

EA is a great gaming company. only a few things hold them back. they keep making WW2 games.

if they stop making so many then they would be cool but if they dont then they are an ok company.

with the new screenshots ive seen on ign, id say they have really improved the graphics and the gameplay looks so much cooler. you can upgrade your parts, weapons, and armour if you find parts lying around the ishumura. The story sounds so awesome too!

Wow, how wrong was I!!!! This is one of the best games this year, im only into chapter 1 and im already loving it more than most games i've bought this year. It also revives my faith back in EA and gives me a VERY good feeling on the outcome of Mirrors Edge.

Yes, 100%... i dont know what idiots voted it down in here but this game is awesome. A suprise hit too... i dont think anyone was really expecting it to be as good as it turned out!

It sure is worth it! I still play it after completing it 5 times with all the weapons and suit to maximum status, almost feel unbeatable now lol. Always enjoy that lovely stomp move, i have the audio at max with the headset on and that stomping crushing sound is just music too my ears

Love my horror games and had a blast with Dead Space, its quite replayable too how each play through allows you to upgrade your weapons and suit. Good year for horror fans, This, Silent Hill Homecoming, Condemned 2 & Siren Blood Curse. Hopefully next year is equally as good.

I love this game so much, the atmosphere, sound, mood, gore, monsters etc.

It was the surprise of the year, i just hope they continue with it because it could gel into a fantastic trilogy.

how scary is this game exactly.. i mean, im not really into horror games, i get scared easily, I was scared in RE4 and in DarkSector..
is this scarier then RE4 or is it scary as RE5? i want to play it for the experience of a truly original game and it seems cool.. but i might needa buy a new pack of underwear
