Infinity Ward have become well known for their award winning Call of Duty series. Along with game developer Treyarch, Infinity Ward have created quite possibly the most well known game series of all time. Every game in the series created by Infinity Ward have received some sort of Game of the Year award (Call of Duty 1, Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare). Infinity Ward and Activision have hyped up this game like crazy, the marketing team really did their job as Infinity Ward stated they wanted this to be the biggest entertainment launch of all time. They shattered the theatrical box office and video game sales records for five-day worldwide sell through in dollars. Infinity Ward came through with what they had hoped for with the biggest entertainment launch in history and smashed the records with of approximately $550 million. After all these feats and achievements, can the game actually live up to the hype?

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate (try saying that 3 times really fast)
Although the name suggests something about crystals, you don't go on a hunt for lots of magic crystals. This is a really great RPG game for any DS owner even if you have owned every FF game or the name is slightly familiar in the squishy grey matter of your brain. I had the fortunate chance of find this on special for about $30 NZD and haven't regretted my purchase yet!

Portal

In portal, your goal is to get to the exit of all the test chambers. Sounds Simple? Well, at first, it is pretty simple I have to admit, as the game pretty much holds your hand through the first few levels. But throughout these early stages, it teaches you some valuable concepts that you’ll need to know later on in the game. The task of finding the exit gets trickier though, when certain things such as turrets and locked doors are introduced. So it obviously gets harder, and rightfully so, after all it is a Puzzle game, but it never gets so hard that you think it’s impossible. Portal increases its difficulty just the right amount every time, so you shouldn’t really ever be rage quitting [Depending on what type of person you are]. Portal is a truly unique concept, and very complex, but at the same time so simple, and I definitely think the solid gameplay does it the justice it deserves.

Street Fighter IV

Street Fighter all started back in the days of 1987. It was the first street fighter made, with it being in arcades instead of home consoles. The characters were Ryu, Ken, Retsu, Geki, Joe, Mike, Gen, Birdie, Eagle, Adon and Sagat. It was a really good game for the 80’s and fans were eager to see more. Then in 1991 Capcom released Street Fighter 2. It was still in the arcades though. Some people think this game is still the best fighting game of all time, and I don’t blame them it was way better than Street Fighter 1, and fans were more than satisfied with the game. There was even more characters such as E. Honda, Chun-Li, Blanka, Zangief, Guile, Dhalsim, Balrog, Vega and of course the boss M. Bison. Street Fighter 2 was so successful that capcom made more sequels to it such as Super Street Fighter 2, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and last of all Hyper Street Fighter 2. And of course capcom added even more character such as T. Hawk, Cammy, Fei-Long and Dee Jay.

There's not really much I like about this game, its your typically story; Man is our last savoir to saving this world from an evil alien invasion, go blow s*** up and save us all! I could refine that to better detail, but why bother. This game has absolutely nothing amazing that interests me, the only good thing I will point out the online system isn’t that bad, giving you character customisation on a basic level, HUD organization (like, put the given info on: health, ammo, guns, grenades, etc… where you want on the screen. Still don’t understand, ill find you a picture), and Explosive weapons match. Yes that’s right, online you can choose what set of weapon packs you want using a voting system for the up coming map, in the lobby room.
