the stats site pretty much updates every hour, in the first 20 mins of each hour eg. 1pm-1.20pm but i think sumtimes when Stanford's server are being overloaded, it updates every 3hrs, im not sure.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: most 'work units' need to be returned completed within 3-5 days of downloading to make the research useful, as future work units can rely on the ones done now, if your work unit isn't returned in time, it is sent out to another folder's PS3 to complete. So if you only want to run Folding@Home every now n then, its best to leave it do an 8hr session to complete a full work unit and then switch it off and start again the next day. A new work unit will be downloaded automatically after you upload, so remember to switch the PS3 on and fold within 3 days to return THAT work unit if you can.
