ok guys i have had enough i have read and tried everything i can and still cant get NAT 2. I have NAT 3!
I have visited and done what they said on this page-

Doesnt work for me!
I am with Bigpond i have a ADSL modem , Speedstream modem and its running through a DLink DI-524 Router
Help me guys! Please ! I am getting COD4 for chrissi and dont want any troubles!

i think that if all of the ports are enabled and/or upnp is working, then it shouldnt matter what actually comes up... so if you arent having issues dont worry what it comes up with. mine says 3 all the time but ive not had online issues.

oh yeah the ps3 always says upnp not available, but when i checked it on the router, it had opened up a port automatically (before i enabled all of the ports necessary)

the only way i could change mine to nat 2 was to actually talk directly to my router via it's http and use the the 2 passwords found under it,i have an Iconnect 624w Wireless router wich is wired to my ps3 on port 1 and the router is set to DMZ on that port .but things didn't get much better until i brought my connection up to 8000kbs

im telling u it is that Dlink router They r S*** i will never buy a dlink router again cause they have a firewall built in and r so tricky to navagate through all the settings i cant eva open ports ... CRAP... all i can say for u is get ya ps3 ip addy and go into ur router settings and put the remaing three numbers of ya ip in to the DMZ box it sounds tricky but thats how i got mine working...

I have a wireless connection right and a while back when i was having some problems the Nat setting was 3. ok? Then after me and a mate tried mucking around with the settings and ports and stuff everything was sweet as again, and the Nat setting then became (and still is) 1. wtf?? (I'm still wireless)
