Id get Warhawk, COD4 is awesome... but its not going to be a long lived game the way things are going. Its been out a while and the player base has been halved by a bloody patch that has been half assed released. The game is fantastic, solo is short but multiplayer is fun IF YOU CAN GET ON A GOOD SERVER. Untill i setup OzPS3Party to organise matches in private i could easly spend an hour tryin to find a game with mates before getting the shizzies on and giving up on COD4 for the night. Since then ive been running 18 player games monday & sunday nights which have been a huge success, the games are intense and well played with no garbage or foul language. So if you go the COD4 option come join the other 100+ aussies on my site and play some matches with us, you'll have a blast. Granted tho we do play Private games so you dont get experience.
Dont get me wrong COD4 is great, but you need to get your self a bunch of mates you can go into private with if you want to really get the most out of it. Playing ranked is painfull at best, with the latest patch forcing us to play US servers UNLESS your lucky enough to strike an Aussie server. Even then you wont know till you've spent an hour searching, joining disconnecting... its a painfull process. But as i said, once you get on that one low ping server and your blitzing just hope the host doesnt quit or you will be back to square one.
The other thing is your going to have to deal with ranked games and bad servers till you hit at least level 15-20 so that you have the unlocks you need for private games.
