Playstation 3 Hardware \ Most Likely a Noob Question

Hey Guys, I'm sure I'll sound like a bit of a noob asking this but.
I know there is no region locking on Ps3 games, but I am not totally sure about DVDs & BlueRay..?

Am going to buy a ps3 via ebay, and buying one from another region a lot cheaper would be great. But I'm reconsidering if there is no region free on Blue Ray & DVD.

Help..?

Not 100% sure on that.. there is like 3 bluray regions A B C i think.. a guide to region free ones: bluray.liesinc.net/

no sadly we are in diferent regions to singapore for both DVD and blu rays
