Playstation 3 Hardware \ PSP - Anyone have one and does it compare to PS3?

I'm being converted to PS3 so much so that after only a week, I'm thinking of asking the wife for a PSP for my birthday.... (as I break out into a sweat, chewing my nails, takes a skwig of my Jim Beam to build up the courage).......

Any thoughts.....??

A PSP is great for traveling, but of course the graphics are no where near PS3. lol But there are some great games.

You mentioned in another thread that you have Ratchet and Clank for PS3, well there's one on the PSP.

my wife plays the sims alot which gives me more ps3 time yah.seems to be a good game out every 6 months or so depends what you like playing.

PSP is cool because of its portability. If you think that you wouldnt ever use one, then I wouldnt bother getting one. Its also good coz u can browse the interent on it, and use it as a MP3 and Video player.

But yea, when I'm out ... I bring the PSP.

You can't really compare the capabilities of the two. They were designed for two different purposes. One was high definition, other was portability.

Yeah, I work in Collins St and catch public transport hence my reason for possibly looking into getting one........as for MP3 I have a Creative 60GB Zen Vision which I use 3 or 4 times a week& a 30GB iPod (which I dont use anymore)and play games on my phone..........so I think I would use the PSP....ummmmm decisions..........

They're on the PS2 as well.

Some of my favourite PSP games are Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Daxter, and Silent Hill Origins.
And soon the English version of Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core should be out soon here in Aust.

As for the graphics on the PSP, of course it's worse than the PS2 and PS3. After all, it is portable and has a small screen.

The PSP is hot, no matter what anyone says Games, videos, music, internet etc Plus GPS, TV etc if you buy the attachments
