I have 2 pre-orders for GTAIV(360 and ps3) and i wondering which i should cancel?

So if anyone buys there copy early in the morning...post an answer to my question!!!

Does The PS3 version have the rumored "split screen multiplayer" that ive been hearing about?

I doubt it VERY much. There both the same excluding the DLC. But supposedly the ps3 version has better anti-aliasing on it than the 360. Cancel the 360 version dude.

IGN gave it 10, as did UK! great news.

anyhow, comparing the xbox and ps3 versions graphic wise, the ps3 wins. loading times are also faster due to it being able to install to the hard drive. but there is more anti-aliasing making it cleaner says IGN.

although the xbox has downloadable content (which won't come for months, i read somewhere, but i may of misunderstood or w/e), but i'm not sure how much content that is.

all in all, online play is probably the way to go. check out sales for both consoles. more sales on ps3 means more people online and therefore larger community to play with. and also the other way around for xbox.

P.s. I'm sick of people looking at GTA IV and only seeing online play. Yes i heard it's good but its fairly frustrating that people oversee the hard earned, beautiful single player and decide on wether to get the game based on Multiplayer.

I agree, i loved all the other GTA games even without online multiplayer.

It's almost as if everyone assumed the single player was going to be incredible (not an unreasonable assumption given GTA IV's pedigree) and focused on the online play. I'm sure online multi player will probably be really awesome, but that said, i'm definately buying this for the single player experience. There are some games that I play sometimes to take a step back from my social life and the GTA games have always fit into this category.

exactly! The first game to get a 10 from IGN in almost a decade and ppl are worrying about DLC that might make it better?

Most people prolly don't even care for the story as much as the ability to roam Around Liberty City in this game and do whatever you want. I am looking forward to the story but most of all, just having the game so I can run pedestrians down, shoot people, screw my gf and all that crap, lol.
