"Joystiq will make any sacrifice to bring you the latest news -- even if it means flying to Paris, France in order to attend Blizzard Entertainment's Worldwide Invitational. Only seconds ago we were shown a cinematic from Blizzard's newest game: Diablo 3. We're currently being shown a live demo of the game (which we're reminded is a work in progress) by lead designer Jay Wilson. The look and feel of the game -- though graphically updated from its aging sibling -- looks a lot like the dungeon crawls we all know and love from the original series. We're promised more loot, more quests (and some old friends like Deckard Cain), and new environments. We'll update you with more information about Diablo 3 as we hear it!"
God bless Blizzard. Giving us Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 at once is incredible. Obviously they wont be released together, but to have both in development and confirmed is amazing.

I've still got the shadow-something hack for D2 allowing you to store items on your PC so they dont clog up your inventory. Collected about 20 full sets and so many many unique items. I have all my characters backed up, 5 different classes all at level 75-82. I just hope Blizzard put in the item trading system from Titan Quest allowing players on the same computer to share the same vault of items so you could transfer between characters no worries.
