yea itll work just fine - just make sure the language is suitable to your needs, though i'd assume that an Olympic game would be multi-language anyway.

bad move man, i hired it and it was shocking, gameplay controls are just about the worst i have ever experienced. i would deffinalty hire it first man, then make ur decision

I went the hire before buying option and glad I did. I usually love these kind of games but this was really dissapointing.
The controls make some of what should be the more enjoyable events painfully tedious diving for example. Glad i didn't fork out $80 for it otherwise I would have been taking it straight back.

To trade or not trade, that is the question ?
Was planning on trading two games tommorrow for this at JB. If I do will trade Surfs Up (for when my nephew & neice visit which isnt that often) which i only payed $35 for it so thinking of trading that & my Tiger Woods 08 which I dont play anymore.

Yeah its very hard, Im gonna give it another go tonight & if I cant get any better Ill be taking it back & changing it for MGS4, even thou MGS4 aint really my type of game it would have to be better than this. When I traded my two games for Beijing08 I asked if I could return it under the 7 day return policy & they said yes but I could only change it for a game that was in the same JB promotion & as I already have Buzz & GRiD I guess Ill go for MGS4.
I wasnt too bad at the running events but some of the other events were just way too hard & the controls were almost impossible.

Good controls are so important in these games that if they mess it up it ruins the game big time.

I returned it today to EB & they gave me MGS4 instead, Beijing08 looks ok but the controls are just terrible, you will end up breaking your controller from the button mashing or from throwing it in frustration LOL
