Playstation 3 Hardware \ Why did you buy a PS3?

Anyways, I bought it for RPG's, since the PS and PS2 were the home of an insane amount of RPG's, and great ones at that. Also, the FF series, as I was a major fan of FF7-8-9. I remember in my early highschool days, trading my copy of GT(Gran Turismo) for FF8 hehe.

Just want specific reasons as to why you bought a PS3, as i'm just rather curious.

Maybe it was because of the exclusives list. Then again, I didn't even know what Killzone or God of War was at that time lol

Wrong. Sony have implemented their mind control bug via the PSP you purchased. Give it a year of PS3 gaming and you will be in the "Sony Cult"... "I love Sony..."

lol. I remember buying the PSP Slim (and giving my PSP Phat to my mate) and buying the TV Out cable, thinking that I won't need a PS3 anymore.

Few months later ... I bought a PS3 anyway HAHA xD

Had to spend my $1300 chrissie bonus on something.

Although I only spent $299 with the Game deal for the Xbox + 10 games. Xbox and 10 games only cost me $200 also.

Also, I was blown away how good the graphics were.

Worked out good, by me playing my ps3 more than anything else (which these days isn't much at all

) Ive actually managed to extend the lifespan of my 360. Win Win in the end
