i owned a ps1, ps2 and it has been a very big part of my life i love gaming but you wouldn't pick me as an intense gamer if you ever met me, as i'm just a regular aussie.
i bought a ps3 simply because playstation has never let me down...well maybe the odd here and there but would i ever trade my console in for a xbox or wii?...i think you know the answer to that.....no im not a fanboy

i bought my ps3 coz i wanted to go into the next generation of gaming, coz it was substantially cheaper in singapore (where i got it), and coz it was reasonably famailar having owned both a ps2 and psp...it suited my needs
and because i could get a white one which isnt on sale here( 
trivial i know!!)

I got it cause it had (and still has) the best exclusives coming out, and of course in in-built Blu-ray player. But mostly for the next-gen games and exclusives.

Been a loyal PlayStation gamer since the first. 
I also got an Xbox (original), but after M$ suddently dumped their console...I was very unsupportive of them and also I don't like having my console repaired more than ZERO times (so-no-to-rrod-for-me)!!!
