PS3 News \ Rumor: Factor 5 are closing there doors
Recently IGN's video game journalist Matt Casamassina had confirmed that Factor 5 will be shutting down. Earlier this week rumors had appeared from Factor 5 animator, Sam Baker.
Originally Baker had posted in a blog saying he had arrived back to Factor 5 and finding out his employee's had been unpaid for the past month. Shortly after, his team had lost their health benefits, and the so the company had told the workers that they had to scrap the current project due to insufficient funds.
Shortly after 1UP had noticed the story and posted it, relating to the status of the company. Baker then had noticed the story and had to delete his original post, then replaced it saying it was a misunderstanding ''This does not mean that we've stopped production on that game, or that it was even in trouble.''
Then rumor's had arisen from Edge Online saying a source had confirmed that all Baker's original info was in fact true and also told he had resigned from the company.
''Casamissina'' had recently posted on the IGN message boards relating to the Factor 5 Issues. The details was revealed from an email from another inside source who was known by Casamassina, told:

I was hoping the rumors weren’t true. Contacted Julian over at F5 to shed some light, but he didn’t get back to me. Got an e-mail from an inside source tonight

How have you been? Haven’t seen you guys since E3. I hope that you’re doing well!
Wanted me to contact you with some late breaking news. We just learned from inside sources that developer Factor 5 has officially closed their doors as of today. That’s some pretty big news considering that those guys have been around for quite a while. It’s definitely a real shame! I hope that this information is helpful to you. Take care, and please say hi to Bozon for me.
Factor 5 have yet to confirm there official closure.
