Sony has confirmed that the massive action game MAG, from Zipper Interactive, will just miss the Christmas release period this year and slip into 2010.
MAG will be released on the PS3 in the US on January 26, 2010. Sony did not confirm when the game would arrive in Australia, or any other region for that matter; however, we expect to see it shortly after, early on in 2010.

Anyway as far as I know the game runs off Sony's own servers and not by some user as a host, and they've said many times in most their videos that they are happy with how it is and they've been doing 256 player tests and haven't found any problems except minor ones which they're fixing

cheese_man said:Agreed. By the time it comes out... they would of done about 14-15 months of server testing. They've been testing since about november last year. And yes it has dedicated servers.
cheese_man said:Are people really dumb enough to think that they would just make a 256 player game and not care if it lags or not. Obviously they wouldn't make that many if it lags. Common sense people
cheese_man said: Do you really think they would release a 256 player game if it lagged like mad.
