Btw, not sure if you've noticed, but GamesCom is a European convention, not a Japanese one (meaning it most likely and probably refers to European releases rather than US or Japanese). TGS will be on next month, that's in Tokyo (Japan)...don't get confused with that one

I went & did a google before about this issue & from what I read micky is right I think. It was saying that when they give a release date like this "Q4 2009" it actually means thats when they can start taking orders & it will actually get a release in Q1 2010.

Either, I was never convinced it's going to be released this year (outside of Japan). I still feel it'll be more like Feb-March 2010...I know it's a fair way, I just hope I'm wrong about that and have it released worldwide this year.

I'm with Matrix on this one. They are specific in saying 2009. If it was running on financial year or Japan's supposed calender, then they would have just said 4th quarter. Unless you can dig up a game from the past that was announced the same way and was then released early the next year, i'm going to be sticking with a December release...

*FACEPALM* LMAO what ever u forgot the publishers (Sony Computer Entertainment) who is charge of their product manufacturing and marketing (including advertisements) if Sony Computer Entertainment is the publishers which its a international company then they r in charge of advertisements which u saw the picture in this thread.

It will be Epic... you know what they should have done, Released it with the slim as a bundle like when the PS3 was first came out they had it like in the packaging that you can download the new GT5 demo, which was one course 10 cars

no doubt about the bundle for christmas maybe... funny thin is i got the gt4/ps2 bundle because it was good value then the gt5prologue/ps3 bundle for the same reason not because of the game that put aside...
is this game gonna be like forza on 360... id love a game where u can customize a car the way u want (performance and exterior) then put it on a track n it would handle like it would in real life...

i would also like to see gt5 keep the whole buy a 2nd hand car thin like in gt4 some older model cars are better then the new ones...

i dont think it will be so customize heavy. maybe adjustments to suspensions, tyres, etc. and a few different paintjobs, but dont expect too much.
