Your inability to read would make you the dumb ass mate. I said that this game will be good but without planes and a more expansive map its obviously not as good as it could have been is it!
Its people like you that allow game developers to get away with what ever they want, your sucked in by the hype without stopping to think about whether the game is as good as it should have been. And zhaz's intentionally delaying finished games to build hype is commonly used tactic nintendo are the masters of this. Why would rockstar release gta4 when they could profit from the glorified "stories" expansion packs instead.
Im not the only gta fan that has concerns about this game, just check out some gta forums and you will see a lot of people concerned that gta4 has gone backwards in gameplay.
Its to early to tell EITHER way. Am i wrong in being negative? i hope so but i'll be ducking under this hype wave thats for sure.

Game Developer's do whatever they want anyway, a small minority actually listen.

Those people in the forums arnt true gta fans, real fans wouldnt doubt Rockstar. nd its on the game engine called RAGE, Rockstar Advanced Game Engine.

I take issue with this. You do know how long GTA IV has been in development now, don't you? Would you really want to wait another year so that we can have a game with an 'updated' graphics engine?

Besides, theres nothing wrong with Rockstar's RAGE engine. I was very impressed with the graphics in Table Tennis when it came out.

Incorrect. It is set in Liberty City, but this time a more realistic, real world depiction obviously modeled on New York City. But not New York, as you'll notice that the Statue of Liberty is called the Statue of Happiness in LC.

I've played every gta game made and i enjoyed them all. Each game has taken steps forward in game play now GTA4 looks like a graphic/physics upgrade, and a game play downgrade.
Lets not forget the episodic content which will more than likely material intentionally held back from the original release.
There's a 99 percent chance this game will be good but there's a 100 percent certainty it could have been better with a more expansive ORIGINAL map and planes.
It looks like GTA4 will be GTA3 L.C with better graphics and physics hopefully more news about the improvements to game play or lack of will surface in the next few weeks
