Ubisoft have announced that it was honoured during the 11th Annual Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) Achievement Awards. The AIAS Awards is the most prestigious awards ceremony in the video game industry, determined by the votes of creative and technical game makers, all of whom are qualified Academy members. Ubisoft took an award home for Outstanding Achievement in Animation for Assassin’s Creed.
“The original mandate was to redefine the action adventure genre on new-gen consoles and we reached that milestone as the industry recognized the vision and efforts invested by the Assassin’s Creed creative team,” said Yannis Mallat, chief executive officer of Ubisoft’s Montreal Studio. “It has been a long journey for the development team and I want to congratulate them all on receiving this award.”
