Activision has announced that [i]Guitar Hero: Aerosmith[/i] is on the way to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which will be developed by Neversoft and the Wii and PlayStation 2, which will be developed by Vicarious Visions.
To celebrate Activision are giving [i]Guitar Hero III[/i] gamers the chance to download Aerosmith's "Dream On" for free via the Xbox Live Marketplace between February 16-18. The song will also be available for a limited time on the Playstation Store with details to be announced shortly.
Aerosmith's Steven Tyler says [i]“Any band that can go from ‘Don’t Want to Miss A Thing’ to the ass-kicking ‘Sweet Emotion’ to the cheekiness of ‘Love in an Elevator,’ to the classic ballad ‘Dream On’ shows why Activision chose us to headline this game based on the diversity of the Aerosmith catalogue. Not only is songwriting a bitch, but then it goes and has puppies.”[/i]
[i]Guitar Hero: Aerosmith[/i] is set for a June release although the tracks to be feature in the game are yet to be confirmed.
