i like gta4 online mostly i think if saints row 2 had a simalar free mode like gta it would be far more fun

you cant really put it like that. Grand theft auto IV is more narritive driven, so you find that the only thing thats fun in gta is the story mode, whereas saints row 2 is fun, you dont have to do missions, its more of an unrealistic feel

I found GTA IV to be quite boring at times whereas Saints Row2 is quite fun.

Major Differences:

- Saints Row 2: You can fly planes

- GTA IV: Better Graphics, More realistic

SR2 is by far the better game for gameplay and thats what its all about..IMO. I enjoy just roaming around blowing **** up all over the place and flying planes.

Graphics arent as good as GTAIV but they arent bad by any means and i just get more fun out of SR2

All I can say is GTA IV cannot be compared to SR2 as they're both completely different in many aspects.

GTA IV > SR2 ihmo.

i have them both gta4 had over $200mill spent on it during its making i dont aggree that they are not simalr i like them both for different reasons

I don't have SR2 but GTA4 seems a lot better so that's why I didn't buy SR2

Saints Row 2 I had way more fun than I did in GTAIV, heaps more to do in coop as opposed to less than a handful in GTAIV, and flying in SR2 is better, though the cars handling in GTAIV is more "realistic". GTAIV also has better graphics, though for me... fun gameplay > graphics any day. Just my 2 cents

no as far as i know saints is only 1 player unless yor online one thing i dont like about the co-op on saints is that if you or your partner goto your menu it pauses the game untill you or them come back to the game. a silly design i just dont see the need for it

GTAIV is like Apocalypse Now, whereas SR2 is like Hot Shots.

I prefer GTAIV, but I love me some SR2 madness every now and then.

Lol! My name actually comes from a lack of imagination,I was playing GTA SA when i joined up and i'm a dude I know, i'm so creative


I like pretty much any sandbox game, i liked the customization and the sense of more freedom in SR2 But GTA IV is so much more polished and classy IMO Its like a new tuxedo, while SR2 is like a shirt and boardies, both are good in their own ways

what gta4 needs is an update for a ranked style of freemode with say 20,30 min rounds on popular parts of the map eg (airport) also i think if SR2 had a freemode of some type it would help me 2 like it more. but as i said i like both for diffrent reasons mostly the reasons that are being mentioned eg (gta4 graphics) (SR2 the humour) but to be honest gta4 for me i say this because i find myself playing it more often just like many others i know are.

I think all sandbox games need DLC to expand their lifespan though, just keep adding to it to keep us entertained!
