What really happens, is that by looking carefully into my spoony reflection, I hypnotise myself, and implant an idea of geographical uncertainty. Once I am confused about where I am, I go one step further. I hypnotise myself into believing I'm SOMEWHERE ELSE. And now here's the tricky part. I then throw the spoon into the corner, and whilst the guard is distracted, bring out my fully fueled chainsaw.

Voila! ROOM ESCAPED!
