Yeah as soon as Cousins got injured the whole game turned around, hard to say if that was the reason but Port sure did lift after he went off. Was a good game.

I dont think there is anyway of Eagles coming back from this loss, at the very least it almost assures them of a meeting with Geelong. Port could go all the way this year, players like the Burgoynes, Cornes & Westhoff are very good players i reckon.

I think the eagles are gone too, Cousins will be out for at least 2 weeks , proberly 3 or 4 as its his second hamstring this year & the general rule is 1st time 2 weeks , second time 4 weeks so thats him gone for the finals & Kerr is still out, then there is Judd who is obviously no where near fit. If Geelong beat the roos I think they will have it in the bag, but having said that, any team can win on the day if they play to their best.

Yeah Geelong are looking quite a force arent they, but they will play without one of their best defenders in Mathew Egan so who knows But i agree i think the premiership will be theres.

Very true , the one issue for Geelong is Eagan, last week when he went off Johnathon Brown (that man is god to me) kicked 5 goals on Scarlett in the last quarter, in the first 3 quarters he only managed 2 so it really says something about how good Eagan has been this year & how much of a loss it will be for them. I still think Sacrlett is better than that & he wasnt prepared to play on Brown , he should be better prepared this week. I just want two different teams to make it to the grand final this year, Sydney & West Coast have had their go & Port got their cup a few years back , so Id like to see a Geelong vs Roos final or maybe even Hawthorn but I dont think the hawks are up to it this year.

Yeah speaking of the Hawks werent they unlucky to miss out on a top four spot, it's a big ask but they could still do it from here, they have the list to do it and i just cant help but feel Sydney could still do the unthinkable, there is something about that team. I dont think my guys *Collingwood* will make too big of an impact in these finals though

Sydney always hit top gear in the last quarter of the season, Paul Roos is an exceptional coach & whoever else is behind the scenes there do a great job at getting their players ready for the finals. Besides Geelong, all the teams have been very even this years in the top eight so really it all comes down to which team plays well on the day, Collingwood have as much chance as the others, if Buckley can hit top form he can lift that team by 25% , his a huge influence over the younger players.

Man i agree with pretty much everything you said then! Yeah thats true, Buckley does lift alot of pressure off the more younger players, if we have any chance at all, he needs to play at his best along with Rusling, Thomas & Pandlebury.

Oh man i got an absolutely teasing from all my mates and relatives when Collingwood lost both those grand finals, i mean i would not have cared as much if we lost one of them and won one of them but to lose both is just shameful and a missed opportunity. Im just glad those years have long passed lol

Lol, i dont blame you man, if it was my team that one 3 grandfinals in a row i dont reckon i'd ever let my mates hear the end of it. Good on you're team though man, they deserved it and played incredibly to maintain such great form over a long period of time. What a game last night, glad port won though. No Kerr no cousins and judd not 100% fit in the finals without those players in the side, its goodnight to the eagles. Collingwood have a really good chance against sydney. You got the PIE army backing them and buckley and they know how to play sydney not many clubs do. I think the hawks will cut though adelaide we got many potent forwards. I don't quite understand Adelaide are favourites going into the match and hawthorn are fifth on the ladder and they finished 8th. Hodge will be at his best

It's because Adelaide have an exceptional record at the Telstra Dome & they are favorites only because more people are backing them with bookies, I think Hawthorn has a chance but they will need to play at their very best.
