I have just noticed a new icon on my XMB. TV, then under that is abc iview. Anyonbe else just notice this?
I updated firmware on friday to 3.10 but this only appeared now.

Nah nothing was playing bad company 2 beta. Went back to XMB and its there.

I would use it but Optus Internet doesnt have iView unmetred like other companies. Its probably there to prepare us for PlayTV

I logged onto my UK account and noticed the "TV" BBC icon and when I logged back into my Aus account it had magically appeared. I'm happy now.

just start up ur iview thing..
then bandwidth tab on top of screen.. it should tell u there..

anyways to make things easy for u guys, these are the um-metered isp for now..

Watching internet television via iView is free, but it may affect your download limits with some ISPs.

iView is unmetered on the following ISPs:

* AARNet
* Adam Internet
* Apex Internet (TransACT customers only)
* Cinenet
* Comcen/SPIN
* iinet
* Internode
* iPrimus
* Westnet
* The ABC is in negotiation with other ISPs to offer ABC iView unmetered to their customers

It actually works and looks pretty good, don't know how much I will use it though. Let's face it, it was always available through the browser anyway so it isn't earth shattering stuff.

Not all ABC is ****. There's quite a few good shows on there.

Wtf does unmetered mean? My ISP is on that list so I'm taking that it's good?
