i like em ok, they just could have been better without him..... and vice versa. well, maybe soundgarden are an exception, but he should have left them earlier.
audioslave are ok on their own merits, but they could have been SO MUCH MORE. RATM should have just stayed together, i think thats why its personal to me. when they broke up, i was devastated, but audioslave on paper should have just risen from the ashes and continued world metal domination. they didnt. the first song blew off like a rocket but from there they fumbled into rock n roll mediocrity. 
and yeah i have white pony, i have all deftones' albums, they rule

Rage were a top band and I'm sure they would have stayed together if Zac didn't decide to pursue a hopeless solo career... what a great move that was!! I'm glad in a way because that made room for Audioslave who i think are a fantastic band...
