Mate01 if you wanna get into Dylan's music dont stuff around with industry sanctioned compilations - go straight for the albums... and the best 5 I personally recommend..:
1. Blonde on Blonde - maybe best album ever released by anyone imo - exce[t maybe for:
2. Blood On The Tracks - incredible songwriting - immaculate production - legendary songs
3. Highway 61 revisited - between folk and rock - very rough sound - awesome songs such as "Desolation Row" and "Tombstone Blues" - pure Dylan as visionary - genius...nuff said
4. The Freewheelin Bob Dylan - just 1 man with a Guitar and Harmonica!! tracks such as "Hard Rains Gonna Fall" - no brainer
5. The Bootleg series vol 1-3 (one package) - first official bootlegs released - includes "Blind Wille McTell" ALL songs incredible - too many to list..
... now... all these for less than $100 - essential for any fan of music really man

guns and roses' best is civil war >>> good song I agree BUT Slash's in credible solo on Sweet Child sends deep dark shivers down my spine every time... pure genius - its everything a great guitar solo should be...

LOL - I got about 400 cd's stored in lossless FLAC format I can stream to my PS3 using Tversity and play back through optical to my 5.1 surround amp in prologic surround .... THAT's what i got man!!! hehehe!! 
...all the classics mate - you name it I got it... except for Zappa... err damn why dont I have any Zappa ... I might have "Hot Rats" somewhere...

yeah snick, big time slash fan - had lunch with Mark Knopfler when i was a kid as well hey. my mate's mum was an actress and she knew him somehow i canny even remember - but yeah what about that extended solo between slash and duff that goes for like 15 mins, in between November Rain and Civil War at the Tokyo concert, samples of Jimi, etc goes right off mate

I'm listening to a great lil Canadian band called The Constantines and their 2005 album Tournament of Hearts. Really good album if you can be bothered spending a fortune to have it ordered in. Wanted it so badly I had to blow a fair bit to get it

My favourite is Goodbye Mickey Finn. Actually the first time i heard it was when the news came through of those girls that suicided last year (i have mates that were lifelong friends of one of them), and yeah now every time i hear it, i think of how suicide ****s up so many peoples lives, not just the person who does it. Not such a negative thing though, great song
