What a game...and as i predicted, Russia have upset the Dutch...WOOHOO!!
Russia created much more opportunity than the Dutch but just couldnt put them away. Pavlyuchenko put Russia ahead after 56 mins but van Nistelrooy equalised on 85 mins. Torbinsky gave the Russians the lead again in the 112min and the little maestro, Arshavin finished it off in the 117min

Its a shame Russia are on the same side of the draw as Spain as I would like to see both sides in the final...

Really...i didnt think it was that good a goal. Sneijder crossed the ball in from a free kick and it was a free header!! Each to their own though

Yeah he is and is having a great tournament but Arshavin is the real key i think. When he plays things happen for Russia, he is always attacking and they look dangerous. They have good players all over the pitch!!
Once Spain knock Italy out its gonna be a great game between them and Russia

The Netherlands and Russia game was funny for some reason pretty much from the start of the game I found myself barracking for Russia! Russian Guss came to the rescue they gave the Dutch an absolute flogging.

My god Italy are boring to watch that was the least entertaining 90 minutes I've watched at Euro 2008. Torres has been substituted even.
First 5 minutes of extra-time has had more highlights than the rest of the game.

Not the most exciting game i have ever seen but in the end, the better team won on the day and good riddance to The Azzuri. As for the semi-final, I really like the way Russia are playing and I have picked Spain from the beginning so im not gonna be too disappointed with whoever wins!!
