Yea, but I think they'll sell Euro 2008 higher here in Aus. Whereas USA gets it cheaper?

Ahh, I use to own both. Then I sold PES 2008, because ... [1] I'm use to FIFA and [2] I didn't like the game lol.

At first, you might think "Oh ... it's just another soccer game. I'll wait til FIFA 09".

But the more you play it, the more you'll see the differences and improvements.

I think that's UK. I'm not sure if it's Australia as well though. I do know that the US gets it 20 May.

I actually think it plays totally different to FIFA..the game is quicker, smoother and much more open IMO. It took me a while to get use to but i can definitely notice the difference while playing!!

Well to be honest. I always wanted the game. Simply because it's a national football game (as opposed to clubs, like in FIFA 08 or Champions League)

I just needed to justify purchasing it

- Much improved passing and shooting system, the ball now goes where you intend it, and also controlling distance of all passes is brilliant. Heading on goal is much improved too.
- Weather being introduced looks great and is much needed from '08. Be interesting to see the full game in dry conditions because in the rain their hair actually appears wet...
- Cut scenes look much improved.
- Graphics and camera-angles, kudos Fifa next generation finally arrives! Players, shirts, textures etc all are much, much improved and the actual in-gme graphics (eg. not cut-scenes) are leaps ahead of '08.
- The coaches cut-scenes, hope this makes Fifa '09, would love to have Fergie pacing the sidelines in my career mode!

If Fifa '09 is based on this build it is going to be a stellar game! Soem of the replays are a bit laggy but hopefully the final game is smooth, otherwise this game is looking must have.

Play-Asia says shipping May? Anyway link to a version shipping April, because I wouldn't mind saving $40!
