Are any of you guys gonna get online and play?? the last 2 nights i have only come across 1 other Aussie!!
There are Europeans galore to play against but i like playing against my fellow Oz counterparts and to be honest, the Europeans play dirty. I have been through on goal so many times and been chopped down, yeah it results in a red card but i could have scored numerous more goals

Seems to be more so the German players and dont get me wrong, im not saying all of them play dirty but i have come across quite a few.

After two 1-0 losses with Portgual and struggling to even get a shot off I changed formation to a variation of a 3-4-3 and thrashed someone 6-0 in my next qualifier, Ronaldo 2, Nuno Gomes 2, Nani, and Deco.

Still annoyed over the wide cross goalie bugg, I put Crouch in my England side and he has been an absolute monty to score a headed goal every game he's played.

I find it weird. I'm playing on Semi-Pro difficulty, and I haven't changed it yet.

I won as Greece vs Portugal, 9-1.

But then when I played Germany vs Denmark, I'm losing 0-1.

On the same difficulty ... am I getting frustrated or something =/

I chose Spain, only for the fact that i like them and use them quite a bit..even though any team you use still adds to the initial nation that you chose!!

EDIT: Im enjoying the "Captain Your Country" mode ATM and its been a tight and tense struggle between Myself, Baros, Rosicky and Rozenthal for the captaincy rights but our progress is going nicely

Oh you serious! God damnit. Maybe the only way to wipe it, is to delete your save file?

I seriously regret choosing England.
Anyway, I've currently set my favourite team to France.
Although, to be honest ... I'd like to play as Spain too.

Maybe Netherlands, Portugal as well.

Hit a new record tonight England 9 Russia Nil in 4 minute halves on semi-pro. Next game same team, same formation, I just eeked out a 1-0 against Estonia!

Tactics definately play a role in euro 2008, some teams are near impossible to score against, and others push pretty much all a11 players into their defensive half. Never notcied that before in the annual Fifa incarnations.

Finished my campaign with Portgual after losing 1-0 to France from an own goal from a corner in the opening group stage game, I didn't lose another game and only conceeded one more goal for the tournament.

Played with Portgual using a 4-3-2-1 formation and Ronaldo won golden boot with 6 goals, Ricardo won player of the tournament, and had about 8 players in the team of the tournament.

The end of game presentation of the trophy is the best sporting celebration gameplay I've seen it's awsome. Pity the commentary only lasts 30 seconds whilst there's about 3 minutes of them celebrating!

Be a pro mode is as excellent as it was in Fifa 08, might go back and see if you can play a tournament in Be A Pro.

Also now I can play the final full with end of game sequence from kick-off, can you do that before you win a tournament? I wouldn't advise anyone to if you can because you'll ruin the reward at the end but hey!
