Hey guys,
Ive achieved a few of the goals etc in Uncharted before they were turned into trophies and the do carry on over sessions (ie. turning off the system and playing again later). I found them pretty fun to do before they were trophies so im definately going to do them all again now

This now means i have to replay it again (2 times already) I got 55 treasues last time too... and probably about 80% of what else was required.. and now i have to do it all again.... yay!! 
I suppose they are lucky its a quality game though

Volition: Sony pushing devs for exclusive trophies
Dan Sutton, Associate Producer on Volition’s upcoming Saints Row 2, has said that Sony is pushing developers to include unique PlayStation 3 trophies in games that aren’t simply carbon copies of the Xbox 360’s achievements system.
"I think Sony is trying to push for unique," said Sutton, during an interview with Videogamer.com. "They don't want them to be mimicked, they want to have special achievements in their version. So that's one thing they're pushing on that, and they're saying that if you're developing something on PS3 we want you to have exclusives for us."
Sutton also confirmed that Volition’s forthcoming Saints Row 2 would feature unique Trophies and Achievements for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, respectively.
"I'm sure there will probably be some that overlap, just because there are some fun achievements that you want to do on both, but yeah. It's a different system too. There's like gold, silver, platinum type trophies too, so there's going to be top level achievements. I guess you have that on Xbox too, with 60 point ones as opposed to 20 point ones. Yeah, there'll definitely be different achievements for both,” he added.
Saints Row 2 is due out later this year.

yeah, talking uncharted. i heard it was $30 at bigW atm.
oh yeah i forgot there was a demo.
i remember now, i played it and it was too easy for 5 minutes, then all of a sudden i couldnt figure out where to go so i got p'd off and gave up

That level doesn't do the game much justice. There are even harder moments in the game ... and that includes puzzles and shootouts.
Also, may I remind there are two harder levels: "Hard" and "Bone Crushing". (There are gold trophies for finishing the game on these two levels)
I'm assuming the demo was on Normal or Easy, you know ... not too hard for people who wants to see what the game's about?
You can just go to EB and 'rent' the game off them for 7 days ...

oh i wouldnt do the EB thing.......i might get it, who knows.
i AM becoming a bit of a trophy whore.....and spending money is never difficult. i think it depends how much over my cap i went last month with bigpond. im expecting a bill up close to the 8-900 mark. if i get a pleasant surprise when that bill comes, i'll probly do a bit of spendin this week, and since i cant seem to find an arcade fighting stick anywhere in australia, that'll probly include uncharted as a "b00by prize" of sorts

First Warhawk trophies revealed, patch release on August 27
Did you hear that? That's the sound of you unlocking another Trophy. With PixelJunk Eden and Uncharted's recent patch, Trophies have been on the minds of PlayStation fans everywhere. Well, here's some more good news: popular online multiplayer game, Warhawk, will be sporting Trophies by the end of this month. SCEE reports that patch 1.5 will release on August 27th (we're assuming a global release, a la Uncharted).
There will be over 50 Trophies to collect, depending on the number of expansion packs you have installed with the game. Hopefully, Dylan Jobe is keeping his word about the Platinum Trophy: you should be able to get it without having any of the expansions.
Also, SCEE reports that the game will get in-game music support with this update as well. That's an impressive patch, no? See details on the various Trophies and features here.

Anyone know if cheats cancel out trophies? Also, if I was to upload a save JUST before I finished the game on Crushing Mode and someone downloaded it and finished it, would it still count?
