Well of course it's going to be decent, sequels to a movie (imo) are always kick ass.
Can't wait for Punisher 2 though.

Hmmmmm......a trailer that just shows a lot of blood and shooting doesn't really tickle my fancy. Maybe if it actually depicted what the story line was then maybe i would be interested. I see this getting bad reviews.

the new punisher's latest movie before this was a straight to DVD one called 'outpost'. its super freakn dodgy.

on the + side the director is a chick (but wait for it) also did green street hooligans which is kick ass. this chick knows how to direct action sequences.
i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

i actually didn't mind the version of the Punisher that was released in 2004.

Yeah, unfortunately i'd have to agree. Looks terrible.
It's hard enough to make comic book based movies, and it's even harder when it's a low budget film.

Are you serious?? So many comics have become awesome movies IMO...i thought the 2004 Punisher flick was a good movie but im all for Marvel and DC films. Guess im just a big kid at heart but hey, thats me

Never said they were bad. I absolutely love the spidey / Batman films, but i'm saying they're hard to pull off. Alot of fans really disliked spiderman 3, since it didn't follow the comics entirely. I on the otherhand, loved it. Can't please everyone. Daredevil / catwoman weren't all that big, and wasn't well received. Elektra was the same.
