Dont think it will, because its a ps2 game on a ps3.

it has a dongle that makes it work wirelessly, not really an adaptor.

i just plugged the ps2 version guitar in using my ps2 to ps3 controller converter and it didn't work aww well

The Ant Commandos sell a PS2 to PS3 guitar converter that works for Rock Band and GH series (except Rocks the 80's from memory - but certainly GH3 & Aerosmith work fine - think the coding on Rt80s is different somehow) - its 20bucks US + about the same to post to OZ

Yeah i have tried this on the GH aerosmith demo with a ps2 guitar and it doesn't work =(. Only the red button works, and the strummer wont even register. Unfortunately you'll have to actually buy a ps3 guitar, so even more plastic guitars for your collection

Yeah, my ps2 wireless guitar wont work on rock band with my usb to ps2 adapter i just got, how upsetting.

The strummer works and i can go forward and backward, just doesnt recognise it as a guitar playable for the songs. Keeps telling me to put a stupid microphone in. I dont wanna sing!

Shouldnt the patch fix this? Sigh.

How do i get my ps3 world tuir guitar to work with rockband on ps3? I checked the compatability chart and it says it should work but the I can't get rockband to recognise any of the world tour instruments except the mic... any help will be appreciated.

Got a guitar converter on eBay so now can play the old by games on ps3 with a ps2 guitar as you can't use a ps3 guitar, haven't tested to see if it also will let me use the ps2 guitar with ps3 games, can also use it as a controller adapter
