If your looking for a attention grabbing, thrilling, explosive first person shooter this month i would be going straight to your local gaming store and picking up a copy of Unreal Tournament 3. The game provides you with insane ultraviolet combat, fascinating graphics, and the most nerve-searing, vein-throttling, spine tingling action around.

The game play is extraordinary with six modes of gaming, this not including campaign mode.
It features:
-deathmatch
-team deathmatch
-capture the flag
-vehicle capture the flag
-warfare
-duel



Now as you can see from above there is a wide bunch of entertainment and explosive action staring right into your face. There is endless, long lasting hours of playing this insane, thrilling action Tournament.This is a game you wouldn't ever think about trading to EB games. The game play is
very fast place, its feels as if you have taken the drug speed before hand. There is no time for breaks as one moment you could be fragging every person that comes in your vision or you could be running for your life with the oppositions flag. The controls for the game are what you expect they would be for a first person shooter. Not only does in support your playstation3 controller, but is also is the first game to fully support the mouse and keyboard whether its wired or wireless. The game offers fully configurable mappings and even the enjoyable sixaxis motion sensored control for the vehicles and the hoverboard.



The graphics on Unreal Tournament 3 won't live up to Uncharted: Drake's Fortune's standards, but they are still in the high level for graphics. I wouldn't be taken notice to the surrounding scenery for too long, as you would be wasted by taken that split second of concentration of the match. Even though Unreal Tournament 3 doesn't have the greatest top-notch graphics going on, the cut scenes are something to admire, with its exceptional, stunning life like graphics for you to enjoy and admire. The game fully supports all resolutions up to 720p and runs at 30fps.

For me this has one of the greatest online gaming i have seen on the playstation 3 so far. It offers fully searchable games either ranked or non-ranked, as well as featuring custom servers to. You are able to sort you online game searching by ping, gametype and servers that allow mouse and keyboard. Another great online feature is the online campaign mode, which allows you and 4 of your mates to jump in and finish the campaign mode together. If a server is running custom mutators and you don't them, it will download them for you.

This is my first experience with the Unreal Tournament series and i couldn't be more impressed. I am pleased to say that Unreal Tournament nails the perspective and tradition that a first person shooter needs more. The combat is insane, intense, thrilling, explosive and exciting. If your a first person shooter fanatic then you have found what you are looking for. The Tournament is back and better than ever!!!
