ARMY OF TWO - 9/10

Army of two is set on Rico, and Salem, two PMC's (Private military contractors), Mercenaries if you will who work for SSC which are hired by clients to eliminate people who are a threat to the country. Through the game you encounter different enemies each with different difficulty which leads to very engaging gameplay.

Although having some flaws, this game comes out very well when you are craving an intense, team based action game. When playing single player, having to deal with the AI partner is very boring and will get tiring after a while. If you are looking for a game which you and a mate wanna get hooked into and kick some Taliban ass, then look no further. If your looking for just another Co-Op game where your partner can just stand back and watch you kill them all.... if they dont feel like helping or is low on ammo.... then dont buy this. The whole game is based around teamwork from using step-up, so your partner can clear out an adjacent room to ripping off a car door and telling your teammate to get behind you while you advance on the enemy. Everything about this game is to do with cooperation and getting the job done efficiently.
Army of Two also features a wide variety of weapons that you can use to rip the enemy apart, from standard pistols, Deagles, Assault rifles to miniguns and grenade launchers. There is also a kick ass weapon upgrade system where you can attach barrels to annihilate your enemy, extra clips for ammo, silencers to eliminate the enemies who just dont see it coming, and even pimp your weapon up, to give it that shiny gold new look that says "so you wanna mess with me huh?... then bring it". You can even buy different faceguards which look killer. There is also a new feature that is not found in any other game.... the aggro meter. This means that one teammate can start shredding up the place with his HMG and attract all the attention to him which allows the other teammate to sneak past the enemy unnoticed. This game is very enjoyable and not long but not too short either. I have completed it 3 times with my brother and it is still a very fun game to play time and time again.

Presentation: The menu screen of Army of Two is appealing and gets you ready to start hauling ass

Graphics: The graphics are good and the game runs very smoothly even when many things happen on-screen

Gameplay: The game is alot of fun to play, and it requires you to think in order to get the tactical advantage over the enemy

Sound: The sound is good, although many of the guns sound the same which doesnt deliver the real impact of unleashing a clip into the enemy right.


Online: Online can be fun at times, but over in Australia the servers are very laggy unless you have very high internet.

Fun Factor: Army of Two promises to give you a very fun experience when playing with another person but playing alone can grow very tiresome.


Overall: Excellent game, buy now. Simple as that
