Haze - 5/10

Free Radical Haze made heaps of good games and most people reckon Haze was going to be their next big hit but it is one of the worst games i have ever played in a long time basicly everything went wrong and now Free Radical better start making better games because after this i may have lost interest in their games. Haze was set to be released in November 2007 when it was looking really good then it got delayed till December 2007 and it was still looking like the FPS to beat but then it got delayed till March 2008 and we didnt here much about the game for age's so we waited then it got delayed and finaly had a set release date of May 22 2008. Before it was released IGN gave it a 4.5/10 and everyone started to wonder if it was worth it then we played it and it did not deserve to kept trust me dont bother with this save your money for something better.



You start off as a Mantel Solider not knowing much and only thought to kill all of the Promise Hand (More on these guys later) when you are a mantel solider you have the power of the drug Nectar which is a superlative drug that lets you Aim better and your Enemys become yellow so you can see them easier, you have extra strengh, you can detect when a grenade is near you and it is about to explode and there are heaps more things that Nectar can do for you but as soon as you realise the truth about Mantel and all their lies you break away and with the help of Skin Coat you start to fight back but on the other side.



The next part to the story is with the Promise Hand Rebels and the one bad thing about going onto the rebels side is that once you get use to Nectar you lose those abiltys but you do get some new abiltys as a Rebel, like being able to play dead if you are about to die they will walk right past you and you can jump up and kill them from the behind, you can scavenge ammo from killed enemys and make it the ammo that you use, you can steal the Mantel soliders weapons by punching the guy in the head grabbing his gun and blasting his brains off. so as you see being a rebel does have it's advantages but when fihgting against Mantel or if you are fighting against the Promise Hand they don't use the powers you can use so it feels really easy most of the time.



The Multiplayer is one of the positive parts of then game it has it's moments and is probally the best part of this game so let me tell you a little bit about like the Game Modes:
Free For All - A normaly every man for him self game where you can be either side.
Team Deathmatch - 8 vs 8 Team matches so if you are in a clan then you cna play against other clans in clan matches or you can just play around wth some friends.
Team Objective - In this type of game you have to furfill the objective you are given great game for Clan matches or just for fun.
as you can see their are only 3 different match types but hopefuly they have some DLC in the Future.



In conclusion i thought Free Radical did not put any effort i wonder why they delayed it for so long maybe because they wanted the time to sit around and play other games that are way better than this you may look at the trailers and think the graphics where amazing but trust me those trailers are a waste of time and have nothing to do with the game being awesome dont buy this game over anything because most games are better than this and i hope Free Radical do a good job with TimeSpilters 4 because that may be there last good game.
