Hey guys! As the title says...I bought it off a guy from Melbourne. the rules for selling PS3 on eBay is the seller must have his eBay ID + a recepit visible in the listing
make sure u ask him for a photo of the above to prove he has the PS3 in hand

Gah! I really, really do hope that this isn't a scam as i got ripped off about $100 somthing for 2 xbox 360 games early last year so it would really suck to lose $850!! As i said i'll keep you guys posted on the outcome.

Most scammers will do a hit & run - so if he starts selling variety of brand new expensive items (such as the watch and ipods)and no history of selling similar items then buyer beware.
Also he using BIN, i.e. no waiting for a regular auction - trying to scam more before he gets caught?
But we all could be wrong!
You can at least rely on Ebay buyer proection being the $400 less $25.
