The only problem is that rechargable battery inside is not replaceable (compared to Xbox 360 controllers and Wii remotes)

Thankfully it is meant to last quite a long time, but once it does, time to buy a new one. Maybe someone will come out with a battery (like replacement batteries for iPods) but you'll have to open the controller up to do so.

The SIXAXIS was the wrong way to go... It's really awkward when I see those PS3 ads about Sony 'innovating'. Their ads could easily be Wii ads.

Deffinatly will want an extra one of these rumble or no rumble. As Dante said it won't really matter once your in to a good game. I have a Wave Bird for my Wii (GameCube) that has no rumble but when playing Resident Evil 4 I don't notice it still rocks, if a games good i'd play with a stick if I could. You get me?

Actually internal battery is replaceable, inside the controller card (from 2nd controller packaging I bought) it even gives you direcions as to how to do it properly...

well what if they do bring rumble back, do u think it will affect the way the sixaxis works? like if it rumbles to much will it make the controller act weird or something?

and ZOMG no rumble, that adds so much deatail to the game, i mean not on like GC or older ones, but on my wii, its sooo fine tuned ! i love it

The PS controllers have always had the most awkwardly positioned analogue sicks. They never felt right to me, my thumb would slip off them and i found myself using the d-pad when ever the game would allow it. I'd gladly ditch the rumble to make my 360 controller lighter, i use the wired joypad because its lighter and more comfortable.
I preferred the "silver boomerang" perhaps sony will release this at a later date. Either way until there's a decent ergonomic controller available i wont be touching the PS3.

*bows head in shame* I will have to admit that Xpox's Analog Sticks are better placed, it just feels a bit more natural to have the left analog stick where the D-Pad is on the PS Controller...

I'm not going to bother naming the fact that the Wii Stick is responsible for a few TV's (read: QUITE A FEW) being smashed... I think there's a sig you can get that counts those (or maybe I'll bother)

I wish Sony bring back rumble, because some games need feedback eg: MGS Franchise, God of War and sport titles.

The best controller ever made as far as im concerned, sony did the right thing to keep the same design, if aint broke dont fix it (i think thats how the saying goes) so they didnt, im sure they will bring another controller out that features rumble again, besides theres nothing wrong with motion sensing.

I'm still getting used to the Sixaxis thing.
But I must admit that I love using it to shoot people in the bum with an arrow in Heavenly Sword (and in the head, neck, eye...... Well, anywhere really. It's so fun! ^_^ ).
