The Chatpad connects to the top of the PS3 Controller making typing on PS3 a lot more convenient. The Chatpad is rumored to come out at the start of Decemeber and to have a $50 pricetag.

only complaints are that at night time u can't see the keys at all unless u got a lamp right nearby. It really should have had a backlight built in for the current $74~80 they're charging. Atleast glow in the dark keys would have been nice.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions of UV / glow in the dark liquid or something i could use to put on the keys to help at night. It would have to be something that goes on clear and doesn't look messy. Either that or i'm considering pulling mine apart soon.. see if i can't figure out a backlight solution. I really hope some of those 'custom case' manufacturers make a fully replaceable key set with intergrated backlight or something.

If i mod mine.. i'll be sure to post sum pics / howto guide

it would be a high possibility that there would be backlight keypads available, just like cheapo mobile phone keypads and stuff

oh great idea,, not backlit,, what a downer,, I gotsa Nyko PS2 pad similar to this.
