Why the new Splinter Cell game isn't coming to PS3
Every PlayStation 3 owner usually knows the excuse when a developer doesn't include thier game on the console which is a technical or hardware issue. *cough* Valve *cough*. However, with Splinter Cell: Conviction, the execs over at Ubisoft just spat out their real reason: It basically had to do with the money.
Ubisoft's Steven Masters has shot down all the previous reasons why Conviction is not coming to the PS3 and that their real reason for not developing Conviction on the PS3 was NOT because the developing team had issues with the console, but frankly it was just a decision made by Ubisoft's executives.
"Ubisoft as a company now has a lot of experience with PS3. Our processes, tools, techniques are very well-developed - we could absolutely execute on the PS3 if we had the opportunity, but like I said it was a business decision."
