Gabe Newell, boss of Valve, has shared many negative comments about the PS3 in the past, but when he was asked about he admitted he was sorry. If you look at the customers that I feel we've done the worst job at taking care of is the people who bought our product on the PS3 - Orange Box on PS3. Those are the people who I have trouble saying anything to other than 'Yeah, I'm sorry. You have legitimate beef with us The PS3 version of The Orange Box rarely received any support due to technical issues, and was criticised over its poor performance compared to its 360/PC counterparts. Newell also said That grew out of how that product was developed. We didn't have the in-house resources to deliver to them the same content that we've been delivering to PC and Xbox customers

acid said: Its takes a lot of money to set up a ps3 development team, besides the 360 gets the $hit end of the stick in terms of gimped out ports. Valve want people to switch from consoles to steam, the fact they have yet to patch exploits that shipped with the 360 version of TF2 speaks volumes on their level of respect for consoles in general. Which is a shame because I can't be *ucked hunching over a computer desk to game anymore.
