Australia has banned over 32 videogames, America, None.

Australian gamers have had the unfortunate circumstance of having several games banned due to excessive violence and nudity due to the countries very strict rule governing game content.

Americans on the other hand, with its "First Amendment to the United States Constitution" has not had a single game banned. They are instead not given a rating by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Ratings Board).

Games here cannot be classified as adult films do (R18+) and can only be get an MA15+ rating ONLY after the game is modified, otherwise it is banned.

Australian gamers are already very well aware of titles not being released here and until any major changes in the censorship laws come about, have to put up with it until then.
