EA Russia & GAME List Mass Effect 2 for PS3
Is Mass Effect 2 coming to PS3? Who knows. From the day it was announced rumours have suggested that it is, then been crushed by reports suggesting that it is a Microsoft (at least timed) exclusive. The game is just 90 days away from its Australian scheduled release and we're still not entirely sure which platforms the highly anticipated sequel will launch on.
BioWare has been tight lipped, or just done a really bad job at making it clear, but new information strengthens suggestions that the game will be Sony bound. First of all EA of Russia have listed the game on their website. Normally being featured on the publisher's website would be more than enough proof, however, EA did 'accidentally' list a PS3 of Left 4 Dead 2 on their English website a few months back.
Retailer GAME also listed the PlayStation 3 version on their website, for a release on the 10th of January 2010.
EA and BioWare are yet to comment, but we'd say a PS3 release is looking promising.
