News \ Fimware 2.4 Offical Walkthrough (Part 2: Trophies)
Just hours after the first video walkthrough went up. Sony has given the first official look at the new trophy system.
It will be a system like the ones on “Xbox live” and “Steam” that will reward players with a trophy once they have completed certain tasks in their games. Players will be able to access the new trophy icon from under the game menu to see what they have unlocked and all the trophies that they are yet to unlock.
There are 3 different levels of trophies (bronze, silver, gold and platinum) that are worth different amounts of points towards your profile’s level. You will also be able to quickly and easily look up and compare what trophies your friends have. The first game to support the new trophy system will be Super stardust HD
