It has improved Backwards Compatibility and aparently the SIXAXIS tilt is more responsive, so help for games like Lair.

This video shows it with the update and if you have seen any of the other videos you would notice it does look more responsive.

MANY Many console manufacturers have a history of not giving a sh!t about the AU market, becasue we are just too small and too far away from Europe (our closest tech spec equivalent)...

People just take these things for granted and have a crack at Sony for it, when they are working to get update 2.00 and Home out. Why not just be thankful and not get so thingy bout it? So what if it used some of your downloads? Its a small price to pay in the long run.

I hate the forced updating of the firmware, but Sony just do it to combat piracy so i doubt they will ever make it a choice for us.
