Cat5 or cat6 cabling for phone line

Hi all

I am having my phone line cabling rewired from the networks boundary (telstra) and need some help of what cable to use. Reading up on cabling Cat5/Cat6 are great for adsl data transfer.

I would like to know if I can use Cat5 or Cat6 cabling from the boundary to the phone point & then from the phone point to the router? I will be running Voip & my ADSL2+ connections through here.
