Warhawk first landed in Australian in September were PS3 owners were able to download the game VIA PlayStation Store. The game was quite popular and sold well. Ignito then went on to make an add-on for this game called Operation: Omega Dawn. The new add-on included a brand new map and a great new vehicles which will change your tactics dramatically.

The most popular part of Omega Dawn was the new KT-424 Combat Dropship. This dropship allows you to carry 6 other passengers which control the cannons and and missile turrets. Also even with six passengers in the dropship, you can carry a either a 4x4 or a tank. Even though this vehicle may be big and powerful, it is very loud which will distract soldiers.



This vehicle may seem that it would wreck the game completely since it looks invincible however they reduced the speed and manoeuvrability of the dropship making it impossible to dodge missile turrets and rocket launchers. This means it turns the dropship to scrap metal in seconds.



Not just did they include the new vehicle in Omega Dawn but they included a night-time map for the very first time! This is also the largest map packed with pipelines, smokestacks and other industrial items. Also in Zones, instead of having a big flag to change the base with, there is a big energy core which changes colour depending on the Eucadin or Cherovan colours.



You can also use the KT-424 Dropship on previous maps, Archipelago, Eucadia, Badlands, Island Outpost and Destroyed Capitol.

Operation Omega Dawn doesn’t offer radical changes to the title or than game like new character customisations or more night time maps. The new changes though are quite amazing and definetley worth getting.

You can purchase your add-on of Omega Dawn from the AUS PlayStation Store for today. One of the amazing this about Omega Dawn is how they managed to put the dropships in the old map without altering they game. This is for you if you are looking for a new twist and if you are getting a bit bored of all the old maps. Also if you haven’t yet purchased your copy of Warhawk yet, go do so now.
