It looks awful! , I understand what the creators are trying to achieve but they really haven't done a good job. The spectators in the background are rendered in normal 3D yet the fighters are covered in a anime style shade. While this kinda works for the fighter they look out of place in their background.

It's a shame the graphics didnt reach a more realistic look, having cartoony visuals and dodgy ones at that just seems like a step backwards to me, though i can understand the developers wanting to keep the 2D feel, i wont be bothering with this, Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur IV will destroy it IMO.

Come on man, these graphics are how they should have been back in the day, I think it's awesome that Capcom have stayed true to the original style and just added a 2.5 look to it. They made a mess of the Street Fighter series when EX was released.
Street fighter is 2D and must always stay that way.

Realistic?? Nah,,fudge that. That would be going backwards,, I remember playing a 3D Street Fighter in the Philippines back in the day,, it was like that Pit Fighter game. And the characters where from the movie, like Van Dame, and Kylie Minogue,,
it really sucked,, and its was probably a project they didnt want to be affiliated to (although it wasnt Capcom). it didnt work then, and wont work now.
Street Fighter IV art work graphics is like animated graffiti,, stimulating eye candy. LOVE IT!!!

I preordered this from EB Games and I'm disappointed it was supposed to be in today but it came late, they say they might have it within a few hours but idk... I ordered the game and that expensive Tournament Stick

Edit - Oh I got it and it is the best fighter a I have played, sure beats Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Virtua Fighter, you name it and this is better, a must buy I assure you if you buy this game you will not regret it, unless you get it for wrong system by accident
