Well, having played this just recently, this has literally demolished the Tomb Raider franchise for me, there is no going back, i will never touch any TR game again. It pains me to say that but its true. The spark just isnt there anymore, i can see how they were trying to bring back some good old fashioned TR Psone flavour by adding vicious animals and temples into the game, but it seems like its too little too late. Uncharted did the jungle adventure so much better and still does it so much better than this latest TR. And the fact that Uncharted 2 is on its way, well i think that will be the final nail in TR's already bolted casket. Big lips, busty chest, tight shorts and boots isnt going to work anymore, this isnt yesteryear. People want a quality adventure with a good story, quality voice acting, and enough action to impress. They will choose Uncharted because it offers all of that.
I think Naughty Dog knows its pretty much spitting on TR's constant rehashes and desperate next gen attempts, and i think a good solid majority would agree that Nathan Drake has taken the spotlight from lara Croft.
As long as Uncharted continues as a franchise *not that it needs to after the excellent first game* it will always be the death of Tomb Raider now.
