It is my belief that the admins who only occcasionally drop in, only to reprise there roles as admins for one or two posts, should be offering their roles to more befitting members, who will not only actively contribute more, but who will also appreciate the responsibility.

I feel this site would benefit far more greatly if we had admins the likes of Antman, Chee5e, Stonecold, Entice, Bev and Mateo!

These guys are the ones doing the hard yards for the site. Whether it be making general contributions in conversation, keeping old threads engaging, adding friends to promote harmony or just generally maintaining the heartbeat of the community; these guys are the unsung heroes of MyPS3.

Admins such as Jotendo, LegenD, Shadowblade and to a degree PitiPS3 - you guys are just not around enough to act as credible and supportive admins anymore.

There are many people that frequent this room, who show a great maturity and always endeavor to lead by example. I feel THEY are the ones who are getting short changed by the fact that many admins rarely concern themselves with this forum as much as our new members would them like to.

I would like to suggest MrPS3/Roy has a think about the recent changes that MyPS3 has undertaken lately and the direction it is heading with the injection of new blood into the team.

If my admin is removed due to the repocussions of this thread posting i'll understand - i just felt that this is the way a lot of people are thinking and it just needed someone to put it in print.. Thank you.

We had an issue like this on MyPSP recently. We chose to remove the Non-Active admins status. Seems to be alright.

I told you to get CHEE5E as admin from the start

You got a point there Grey snake, an admin should be around, being an admin is not just dropping in when ever it's convenient and lock some threads, delete some posts then disappear, as an admin for another Mymedia site I feel it's my obligation to contribute and help the site grow, which I enjoy doing, but I guess you have to have a passion for the site and it's community if your willing to give up your spare time to contribute.

And thats what draws the numbers, cos we are all willing to help the newbies just as we recieved help when we first started.
This site is growing bigger all the time, with new faces popping up and getting right into it.
It is like any "job" (may I say), in that it must evolve with the "market" (may I say) and that means providing for the ever growing numbers of members and giving them a good reason to stick around. And that wont happen with only two or three 'active' Admins.
