yeah i didnt like that either, i guess its a way of saying sorry to those who did not pre order, becuase of all the fuss they make, the weapons should be for free and they are

Skua. I thought exactly like you first. Actually these weapons are separate from the Gold Edition and Standard Edition. These weapons are for the purpose of advertising BF:BC. I think these will be unlockable in the game but this is a completely different list from the Gold Edition weapons. Talk about a crap load of weapons.

1. Standard Edition Weapons
2. Gold Edition Weapons (Unlockable)
3. Find all Five Campaign Weapons (Unlockable??)

all weapons are well balanced. That's what they focused on for those pre-ordering. Actually the majority of the standard weapons are stronger/in sync with the unlockables. Obviously there are a few differences though but nothing drastic.
