New DragonPlus Playstation 3 Vertical Guard Stand PS3 cost me $19.95 and post was $6.00, I see in shop was $39.95 in Big W was $49.95 so that is good deal. And did told me was Best Selling Stand! sold over 40 units! 10 left! so is cool

the ps3 really does look nice standing,but i dont think buying the vertical stand helps with anything.

hmm, yeah its ok if its on a coffe table, the floor or an entertainment unit...but & i reckon its a big but...HOW COME YOU CANT MOUNT A PS3 TO A WALL?...the utter frustration i have been through to get my lcd tv mounted to the wall has been almost endless...i dont want a cabinet i want my ps on the wall...anyone please help??

Had same problem. Used Sanus fully articulated wall brackets from Harvey Norman store($140) with 32" LCD flat sceen TV and a Milano Dorf wall frosted glass and chrome shelf from Reece P/L (plumbing supply)for PS3. Check Reece website.

hey thanks joda, yeah god its a real pain in the butt, the ps3 is MADE to be displayed, i opted for a shelf arangement myself, the solution you came up with looks spec as!

first of all why use this... i thought everyone had their ps3's on a table or on flat ground or something .. i mean does your house have hills in it? no.

second is the ps3 better standing up or laying down .. does it run smoother does it get better connection one way or something?

I got a stand similar to this,, one with blue leds and a 2 extra usbs.
Had to mod it.. (well drill a hole the sata cable to get through so could connect my external HDD)..
i just prefer having it standing vertical even though it has been proven the PS3 stays a few degrees cooler when its horizontal.

Mine has been like this for over a year without a problem. Even with out a fan in the stand the stand it's self lift the PS3 higher off the ground allowing more air to enter from underneath.

lol, watch out or all that sturdiness could break your bluray laser.....apparently excessive stillness is very damaging!
